Bonus Anthology: The Disconnected
What kind of world we have wrought ourselves…
A collection of cyberpunk horror short stories set in the world of The Savage Aether. These stories don’t seek to build an exact canon - instead they are fables, warnings about work, about leisure, about life, sent from the future. All stories that sharpen the linework in the picture of the world Henry and the contributing authors have drawn.
In addition to new stories from Henry Neilsen, The Disconnected includes incredible new short fiction from:
- Lauren Taylor Bak - Mise en Abîme: A sex worker with out-of-date firmware in their eyes navigates through the miniscule gap left in their endless world of empty pop-up windows.
- Laura Campbell - In Umbriel’s Tears: Before committing themselves to cryosleep, a woman considers the incentives of the company doing the freezing.
- Livia J Elliot - The Blue Door: A father is facing permanent memory loss and is desperately trying to find safe haven for the child they soon won’t remember.
- Thomas Gloyn - Ravel: During a cyberattack, a hacker discovers the price of revenge.
- H M Weir - Sunset: Follow the protagonist on their fall down the mire of addiction and unease in an uncaring world.
